At IDEJA we aim to provide high quality child care and education in a warm, safe, happy and stimulating environment.
We have been providing an excellent environment for children to acquire a second language or enhance the ability in native English tongue.
By providing opportunities for each child to engage in various forms of high quality play,we intend to develop each child socially,emotionally, cognitively, lingvistically and physically and to nurture his/hers natural intelligence, creativity and talents.
Due to our multicultural character we place great emphasis on cultural awareness and intercultural communication through interactive child-parent and parent-parent projects.Parents are welcome to attend our programs at any time-either as observers or active participants.
In addition to higher pedagogic education and long-standing experience in the profession of preschool and kindergarten education and child care,the work with children is our everlasting inspiration and motivation.
Health standards
We follow the highest standards for health and safety. This include balanced nutrition (breakfast,lunch and an afternoon light meal), fresh air and physical activities,frequent sanitation of toys and equipment, proper hand washing and diapering procedures.
We do our best to limit the spread of infections.As part of that effort,parents are required to follow our policies regarding the attendance of ill children.
Play
Play activities are essential to healthy development for children and adolescents,play that links sensori-motor,cognitive,and social-emotional experiences provides an ideal setting for brain development.
Early childhood period is the most critical in a child's development. In that period of rapid change children learn primarily through the proces of play.
The activities engaged in by children influance and stimulate the pattern of the connections made between the nerve cells.This process has an important influence on the development of fine and gross motor skills,language, socialization,personal awareness,emotional well-being,creativity,problem solving and learning ability.
This is why at IDEJA we make sure that our children have experience with wide variety of content: art, music, language, science, math, social relations, because each is important for the development of a complex and intergrated brain.
